Medea Attica is a play based on the second half of the Ancient Greek Medea myth.

Plot Summary
​
​
Having killed her children and her lover Jason's fiancee,
Medea has fled Corinth to Athens seeking the Sanctuary that has been offered to her by her friend
King Aegeus.
Medea, homeless and betrayed, starts to think of ways to make sure she will never be at the mercy of others again and without power - aware that Aegeus harbours feelings for her, she decides that she will marry Aegeus and control the throne of Athens itself through him, to make sure she is forever in control of her life and that she can rule over Greeks who have made her life a torment and caused her to do such horror. However, Aegeus is already married so now she must find a way to rid Aegeus of his wife and make Aegeus want to marry her...
Will Aegeus's desperation lead him into the arms of a woman that does not love him?
Can he see through Medea's plot? Can Medea win the prize of the throne of Athens and make sure she is safe forever?
But will a stranger be the finally undoing of a woman so consumed by pain and torment that she will do anything to never feel vulnerable again and in the end is powerless to oppose?
